Greetings, Welcome to Our Website!

Many of you should have received our valentine card inviting you to visit our new web site. The site itself is a work in progress. Please be patient with us! We assure you, however, that we will now move along quickly to develop this site so that it becomes a relevant and interesting source of information regarding the latest programming in the Division of Student Support and Retention, specifically to include "WHAT'S NEW"! featuring information about activities, special events and opportunities you will want to know about and be a part of as alumni of the Division.

WE HAVE JUST BEGUN!

Goals and Objectives

The purpose of this initiative is to organize alumni groups previously associated with HEOP, SSS, McNair, CSTEP and SummerStart programs into one cohesive alumni association. This groundbreaking initiative will also encompass members from the Black and Latino Information Studies Organization (BLIST).

Our goals are to:

  • Foster communication and develop a stronger association amongst the Alumni.  
  • Enhance networking professionally and socially by hosting receptions across the country in areas where there is a concentration of alumni.   
  • Develop and explore resources that will benefit those programs and issues in which alumni are interested.  

  • Serve as a role model and resource for currently enrolled students.
